Lagg Distillery, home of Lagg Single Malt Whisky, opened its doors in 2019 and in 2023 it proudly earned the title of Scottish Distillery of the Year. The visitor experience offers a fantastic range of tastings and tours, exploring everything from the intricacies of production to the island’s rich history of illicit distilling.

The distillery’s well-stocked whisky shop is a highlight in its own right, featuring souvenirs created by local artists, Distillery Exclusive Limited Edition Single Malts, and even the chance to pour your own bottle straight from the cask.

Downstairs, the café serves light bites and traditional dishes, with tempting specials available throughout the week. For those seeking a more relaxed setting, the upstairs area offers a welcoming retreat and the whisky bar provides panoramic views across the water all the way to Ailsa Craig. Here you can savour the Lagg Whisky range, share a platter of exceptional local produce, or enjoy original cocktails and warm drinks.
