A King’s Baton handover like no other….

As MV Loch Seaforth crossed the Minch, Caledonian MacBrayne helped deliver the King’s Baton to the Outer Hebrides in a mid-sea operation with HM Coastguard. It’s part of the Baton’s 500 day journey around the country, ahead of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games on 23 July.

Leading Hand Connor Macdonald handed the baton to winchman Ben Sneddon, who was airlifted back to a waiting helicopter before continuing his journey to Lewis.
