Brodick port

One of two ports on the wonderful Isle of Arran, Brodick is one of the island’s main settlements with many facilities and shopping opportunities. A perfect location in which to explore the vaunted ‘Scotland in Miniature’ that has made Arran such a popular attraction throughout the years.

Key information

  • Services to/from Brodick will operate from/to Troon only for the period 13 January 2025 – into June 2025. Further information on Ardrossan/Brodick services will be provided on Monday 16 June. Please visit the Troon port page for details on travel via Troon. We advise you to book and reserve your preferred sailing in advance. 
  • MV Glen Sannox will operate from Troon-Brodick from and from 3 March.   
  • MV Alfred will operate to and from Troon - Brodick 18 February – into June 2025. Further information on Ardrossan/Brodick services will be provided on Monday 16 June. Read the service status page for the latest details on Arran services from 13 June.
  • If you arrive at the port without a reservation we may still be able to carry you. Please proceed to the ticket office. 
  • Pre-Booking of vehicles is strongly recommended

Check in process

Vehicles

  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure
  • The check-in booth is situated on the left-hand side after the car park entrance.
  • If you arrive earlier than the stated check in time please do not join the boarding lanes.
  • If the check-in booth is not manned please follow signs - terminal staff will check you in.
  • If you miss your booked sailing, or the size of your vehicle differs from that declared, you may have to pay an additional fee.
  • We reserve the right to amend your booking appropriately on arrival.
