Ardrossan - Brodick
Summer timetable up to 19 October 2025
Due to delays to annual overhaul and vessel availability we have had to make several deployment changes across our network, including changes to vessels and services on this route. Read our latest customer update on Arran services.
28 March – 6 July - Alternative route to/from Arran: If you are travelling to / from Brodick between 28 March and 6 July, please be advised that services are currently operating to / from Troon only. Find dates and details in our customer update or before travel check service status for the most up to date information on this route.
From 7 July - As a result of delays to MV Caledonian Isles returning to service, we are reviewing our vessel deployment options. We will provide an update week commencing Monday 23 June.
There is also an alternative route to Arran between Claonaig – Lochranza from 28 March 2025.
Shuttle buses to/from Troon: Due to delay to MV Caledonian Isles returning to service, buses will operate between Ardrossan port and Troon port for foot passengers until further notice. A separate bus will continue to operate between Troon train Station and Troon port for sailings to/from Troon-Brodick. View full shuttle bus information and timings.

Tickets Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. All vehicles and passengers must have a valid ticket prior to travel.
Check-in 30 minutes for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.

Payment Information: we are currently unable to accept cash payments at Troon. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Apple, Google or Samsung Pay.
Alternative route to/from Arran: there is an alternative route to Arran, travelling between Troon - Brodick, or Claonaig/Tarbert to Lochranza.
Concessions: SPT Ferry Card, SPT Companion Ferry Card and Blue badge concessions are available online and can be applied to your ticket. Please carry your concession card with you.
Group passengers: for tickets purchased online for any number of travelling companions the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to all legs of the journey. If you are unsure whether all group members will travel together, please make separate bookings.
