Tickets: Advance purchase your ticket online, before you travel.
Check-in: 10 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and foot passengers. Late check-in may result in your vehicle being refused carriage.
Request sailings: 26 December and 2 January only - Sailings on this route will operate by request only. Download the timetable for full details. To request, please call our Customer Engagement Centre by 16:00 on the day before travel.
Summer 2025 timetable: The summer timetable for 28 March 2025 to 19 October 2025 will be released in phases.
Routes included in the first phase are available to view online, with bookings opening on 19 December 2024 online by 08:00 and from 09:00 by phone and at Port Offices. Timetables for Tobermory - Kilchoan will be included in the second phase. We will provide further communications on this in early January. Read our customer update for further information.

Planning ahead: Book your ticket online in advance of travel - even if you're a foot passenger. eTickets can be scanned from your device.
Alternative routes to/from Mull: there are alternative routes to Mull, travelling between Oban - Craignure or Lochaline - Fishnish.
Concessions: SPT Ferry Card, SPT Companion Ferry Card and Blue badge concessions are available online and can be applied to your ticket. Please carry your concession card with you.
Group passengers: for tickets purchased online for any number of travelling companions the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to all legs of the journey. If you are unsure whether all group members will travel together, please make separate bookings.
Campervans/Motorhomes/Caravans: At the request of Argyll & Bute Council we have been asked to advise customers that they are required to secure a pitch for their vehicle on the island in advance of travel. Please ensure you have agreed overnight provision. Before you travel, read about the motorhomes, campervans and caravans standby process.
Travelling with a bike: if travelling as a foot passenger and bringing a bike, please add it to your transaction. The bike ticket is free of charge. If you have a vehicle travelling with a bike or roof rack, please add details when prompted during the booking process.
