MV Alfred lift during January: The passenger lift onboard MV Alfred is currently out of order. Passengers who require the use of the lift are advised to contact the port of departure the day before travel to discuss alternative arrangements when travelling. MV Alfred retail facilities - *Please note that there is no hot meal or hot drinks offering onboard MV Alfred, so please factor this into your journey plans. There is a cold drinks/snacks vending machine in the passenger lounge on MV Alfred and if you are travelling from Troon there is a coffee cabin within the terminal building, serving refreshments including hot drinks and snacks. (Open daily between 08:15 - 18:15)

Tickets Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. All vehicles and passengers must have a valid ticket prior to travel.
Check-in 30 minutes for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.
Car park shuttle bus - A shuttle bus will operate between the Troon terminal building and the Troon car park. Bus departs car park every 15 minutes and then every 15 minutes from terminal building.
Train Station - Troon Ferry Terminal shuttle bus - View information on our shuttle bus service between Troon train station and Troon ferry terminal for foot passengers travelling on sailings to/from Troon-Brodick.
Shuttle buses to/from Ardrossan - Troon 11 - 30 January - A complimentary shuttle bus will operate between Ardrossan port and Troon port for foot passengers travelling on MV Alfred sailings.
