Troon - Brodick

Summer timetable 28 March 2025 - 19 October 2025

Up to 16 June 2025: Arran services to Brodick will operate to/from Troon up to 16 June 2025 - with MV Glen Sannox and MV Alfred. Find dates and details in our customer update or before travel check service status for the most up to date information on this route.

17 June - 19 October: To address traffic management concerns during peak periods around the Brodick port area, an adjustment has been made to the Troon-Brodick timetable. Please find the updated timetable below, which will be in effect from 17 June to 19 October. During this period, services are planned to operate from both Troon and Ardrossan ports.

Tickets Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. All vehicles and passengers must have a valid ticket prior to travel.

Check-in 30 minutes for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.

Shuttle buses to/from Troon: A shuttle bus will operate between Ardrossan port and Troon port for foot passengers for MV Glen Sannox sailings until Monday 16 June. Buses will operate from Ardrossan to Troon one hour before sailing departures and from Troon to Ardrossan 10-15 minutes after sailing arrivals.

Following the return of MV Caledonian Isles, a shuttle bus will operate from Ardrossan port to Troon port after sailing arrivals until Friday 20 June.

A separate bus will continue to operate between Troon train Station and Troon port for MV Glen Sannox sailings. Shuttle Bus information can be found here.
