We’re pleased to confirm MV Isle of Arran, one of our major vessels, will return to service on 5 May 2026. We’ve shared details below on what this will mean for deployment of vessels on the network. For the very latest information, please always check the service status page for your route. This information is correct as of 4 May 2026.
Oban-Craignure, Mull – from 4 May to 8 May, MV Isle of Arran will operate service on the Oban-Craignure route alongside MV Loch Frisa. This allows for the increase of capacity on the route.
Oban-Coll-Tiree - until 8 May, MV Isle of Mull will operate an amended timetable on this route.
Oban - Colonsay - the latest information on the timetable and vessels operating this route, can be found on the service status page for this route.
Uig-Tarbert-Lochmaddy - MV Clansman will continue to operate the normal published summer timetable.
Mallaig – Armadale, Skye – from 5 May 2026, MV Coruisk will return to this route. This means once again the service can carry vehicles in addition to foot passengers. Please note, there will be passenger only vessels still operating on this route up to and including 5 May. Check service status for information on which sailings will be operated by each vessel.

For some of the routes listed above, our booking system will be unavailable for a period. This is temporary and takes place to allow us to make changes to current bookings in place. Please do check back. Our service status pages will have the latest information and be updated when this work is complete.

To provide you, our customers with certainty, we want to let you know that we will extend the service plans outlined below until 5 May 2026.
This change is in line with the timescales of repairs to MV Hebrides, which is currently receiving repairs.

We want to let our customers know that we will now extend the service plans outlined below until at least 1 May 2026.
This development follows the news that one of our vessels, MV Hebrides, which was due to complete overhaul, requires further repairs.
What this means for services up to and including 1 May
Uig – Tarbert/Lochmaddy: MV Clansman will continue to operate the published summer timetable.
Oban – Coll/Tiree and Oban – Colonsay: MV Isle of Mull will operate this service to an amended timetable.
Oban – Craignure: MV Coruisk and MV Loch Frisa will operate this service to an amended timetable, however capacity will be reduced compared to the normal vessels operating on this route. Please book your return ticket prior to travel if you plan to sail, even as a foot passenger.
Mallaig – Armadale
A passenger only charter vessel will operate this route until 2 May*. This is for foot passengers only. We apologise that there will be no vehicle service during this period. If you are planning to travel on this route until 2 May, please book prior to travel, and you can do so via Mallaig or Armadale ports.*Update - passenger only service until 6 May.
