A87 BREAKISH – DRAINAGE WORKS
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out drainage and verge improvement works at Breakish on the A87 Trunk Road. These works cover the final phase of on going improvements to the drainage system in Breakish with associated provision of a hardened verge, starting at the Old Church House and ending 5 – 10m into the Sleat/Armadale Junction, directly opposite the existing footway. Construction is provisionally programmed from 7th May to 8th June. Works will be carried out between 0700 and 1700 each day. Construction will be carried out under temporary traffic lights with single lane closure. Given the nature of these works, traffic management will remain in place outwith working hours. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
