Founded in 2018 by uncle and nephew Donnie and Frazer MacInnes, Tiree Sea Tours grew from a passion for sharing the remarkable islands and wildlife surrounding Tiree. Today, the business offers visitors the chance to explore the Inner Hebrides with an experienced local crew, combining adventures at sea with island discoveries and memorable wildlife encounters.

Departing from Scarinish Harbour, trips explore destinations including the majestic Skerryvore Lighthouse, the spectacular basalt columns of Staffa and Fingal’s Cave, and the puffin colonies of Lunga in the Treshnish Isles. Visitors can also discover islands such as Iona, Coll and Ulva, with opportunities to step ashore, explore and enjoy a different pace of island life.

Wildlife seafaris offer the chance to spot seals, dolphins, porpoises, minke whales and basking sharks, alongside a rich variety of seabirds. Every outing is different, shaped by the season, sea conditions and the wildlife encountered along the way.

Aboard its fleet of RIBs, Tiree Sea Tours offers everything from shorter wildlife trips to full-day excursions, private charters and multi-day wildlife adventures. As a member of the WiSe Scheme, the team promotes responsible wildlife watching and respect for the marine environment.
