We strongly encourage customers to book tickets for both their outward and return journey.
Space on some sailings between Oban and Craignure is limited – and we do recommend buying your ticket in advance – even if you’re a foot passenger. Anyone arriving at Oban port without a confirmed booking can’t be guaranteed to travel.
If you are planning to travel on our alternative Turn Up and Go routes, you can advance purchase your tickets online. When you advance purchase a ticket for a Turn Up and Go route, you'll be purchasing an open ticket for a chosen departure date, but not a specific time. So please factor that into your plans – you'll be travelling on the next available sailing.
Tickets for Turn Up and Go sailings are valid for the season in which you've purchased it, either summer or winter - but not both. All Turn Up and Go tickets must be used within the timetable season for which they have been purchased and cannot be carried over into the subsequent timetable season. Unused journeys are non-refundable
