Alternative route to/from Arran: there are alternative routes to Arran, travelling between Ardrossan to Brodick and Claonaig to Lochranza. Please check service status for the latest information.

From 17 April - MV Alfred will be operating the service between Troon and Brodick. MV Alfred, which is vessel on charter to us, does not have any hot catering facilities onboard however a cold drinks/snacks vending machines are in the passenger lounge. There is a coffee cabin within the terminal building at Troon, serving refreshments including hot drinks and snacks. Open daily between 0815 and 1815.

Vehicle restrictions on MV Alfred The vessel can accommodate all types of vehicles, except for motorhomes over 6 metres or any vehicle towing a caravan. If you are travelling in a motorhome of any size, please contact our Customer Engagement Centre  or port of departure.

Tickets Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. All vehicles and passengers must have a valid ticket prior to travel.

Check-in 30 minutes for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.

Car park shuttle bus - A shuttle bus will operate between the Troon terminal building and the Troon car park. Bus departs car park every 15 minutes and then every 15 minutes from terminal building.
