Applications are invited for the position of Senior Port Assistant based between Rothesay and Colintraive Ferry Terminals.

Reporting to the Port Manager, you will need a flexible approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.  This position includes all duties connected with vessel movements in and out of both these ports, and you will be expected to work both inside and outside.  Your duties will also include:

• Sale of passenger and vehicle tickets
• Reservations
• Cash handling
• Banking Duties
• Controlling petty cash and change floats
• Completing time sheets
• Daily stats reconciliation
• Disruption management
• Rostering
• Supervision of all staff
• Dealing with customer complaints
• Deputising for Port Manager

You must be computer literate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are expected to have a flexible approach to working, as shift and weekend work will be involved.

You must be customer focused, have a clear understanding of the customer interface and have a proactive approach to customer care.

You must be in possession of a full driving licence.
