Battery Recycling
CalMac are pleased to be able to offer battery recycling in conjunction with Valpak at a number of our terminals. Boxes are located behind the Ticket desk so please hand waste batteries to staff for recycling.
The battery collection boxes can be used to recycle the following portable batteries:
- AA
- AAA
- C
- D
- 6V
- 9V
- Coin and button batteries
Please place sticky tape over any button batteries to prevent short circuiting. Unfortunately damaged or leaking batteries cannot be accepted, please contact your local council for advice on recycling of such batteries.
