Stramash
Run by a small group of volunteers on Willowglen Green, Stornoway. A free-entry music festival situated in the heart of Stornoway, supporting local music and charities. Eighteen acts will perform across the two days live and attendees can enjoy the live music, licensed bar, hot food, tea, coffee and soft drinks from our festival marquee. Full facilities provided including baby-changing and accessible WC. Voluntary donations at the evening events will support local charity, Macaulay College and their work within the community for those with social and learning difficulties.
Sean Harrison, event committee member and CalMac employee says
"The aim is to provide a much-needed platform for local musicians on the Western Isles. We want to encourage creativity amongst musicians of all ages and genres and allow them to develop their network whilst providing a free annual festival event for our community". You can enjoy food, drink, and varied live music from the festival's Marquee. The Saturday afternoon event, from 1pm - 5pm is family-orientated and will provide free bouncy castles, children's goody bags, candy floss and free hot meals for families to enjoy.
