Yachts enter Tarbert through the main ferry approach past the Islands of Scotasay and now pass the berth to the new marina located past the linkspan. The marina, owned and operated by a 3rd party, is ideally suited to visiting yacht traffic. Please check the local ferry timetable and liaise direct with the Marina operator who will advise on arrival instructions. Yachts must make prior booking before approaching the pier.
Cruise vessels less than 100m and with a draught no more than 4m can berth alongside at Tarbert. Larger cruise ships can anchor in the bay and tender visitors to the pier. For anchoring, please be aware of the scheduled ferry approach and departure from Tarbert.
