New booking and ticketing platform update

I am writing to provide you with an update on our new booking and ticketing platform which was due to be launched across the CalMac network on 25 April 2023.  

The programme is ready to go-live having already gone through intense testing, an independent assurance audit, five cut-over dress rehearsals and staff are fully trained.  

However, we have taken the decision to prioritise dealing with the current ongoing challenges around delays to vessel repairs and the overhaul schedule, alongside their subsequent impact on services on the network. Therefore, we will defer the introduction of the new platform until 16 May*.
