Customer Update - Small Vessel Replacement Programme  

CMAL (Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited), and owner of ferries, ports and harbours and infrastructure necessary for vital ferry services serving the west coast of Scotland and the Clyde Estuary, hosted a series of in person public events from 28 August to 7 September 2023 as part of the Small Vessel Replacement Programme.  

The events, were attended by Caledonian MacBrayne and Transport Scotland to provide information on the new vessels' feasibility studies and provide the public an opportunity to share views and comments and ask questions during the meetings. 

The programme and the sessions are relevant to the following routes on the network:  

  • Colintraive to Rhubodach 

  • Tayinloan to Gigha 

  • Tarbert (Loch Fyne) to Portavadie 

  • Sconser to Raasay 

  • Mull (General) 

  • Tobermory to Kilchoan 

  • Iona to Fionnphort 

  • Lochaline to Fishnish 

  • Largs to Cumbrae
