Taigh Dhonnchaidh
Taigh Dhonnchaidh (Duncan's House) is a Music and Arts Centre in Ness, Isle of Lewis and is run by a group of local volunteers.
During recent community consultation held for their proposed extension to Taigh Dhonnchaidh, the need for activities for children with additional support needs was highlighted. The proposed project will provide music therapy support for people living with additional needs.
The sessions will be open to groups and individuals across the island and will provide a safe space for those with additional support needs and their carers, giving them the chance to socialise with their peers on a regular basis.
