Bute Shinty and Amateur Athletic Club
Bute Shinty and Amateur Athletic Club are a community sports club involved with shinty and registered with the Camanachd Association.
With support of the CalMac Community Fund the group will remove barriers for young people to engage in the sport. Younger members can be fully involved without being discriminated against due to family financial circumstances. Subsequently, It will improve their mental as well as physical health and wellbeing as they progress in our sport and come into contact with others of their age group and similar interests. With the clubs support young people will recognise the need for working with others and the value of teamwork and being part of a club. For many it is a life changing experience and we have had many parents expressing their gratitude to us as they have seen a difference in attitude shown by their children.
